Passage: Psalm 89: 1-4

We're getting closer: to the birth of Jesus ("tomorrow"), to the return of Jesus (whenever). Both may cause anxiety in us mere humans. Some like Christmas. Some don't, finding it tedious and difficult, often elevating depression. In either case, both the psalmist and Mary have words for us: "Your faithfulness is as firm as the heavens" (Psalm 89:2); "May it be to me as you have said"(Luke 1:38).
